Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Covered rotation forces and torque. Student seemed to understand what was going on conceptually, but not how to apply it to her problems. I walked her through a couple of her homework problems, and overall she was very strong in her knowledge."
"Today's session was used to discuss animal development and how the embryo develops its body symmetry and organs. We looked specifically at the types of symmetry animals can display as well as body cavity type. We also discussed how morphological phylogeny differs from molecular phylogeny and how the classification diverges after the bilateral level. She understood all of the material very well, and showed me that she is able to make predictions for development as well as answer conceptual questions. We finished the session by watching a video. I am confident that she will able to answer all questions asked of her on a test. We plan to meet next week in order to continue our discussion of animal complexity."
"Tonight we covered the remaining material for unit three in preparation for retaking the test on Wednesday. Great work on the practice test we took. I know some of the material feels old since it's from December, but I'm confident that he knows how to solve all of the problems we covered! It seems as if the toughest section is Avogadro's law and converting between moles and mass."
