Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered a list of financial vocabulary words that her professor is going to discuss next week. The idea was for the student to have some understanding of these words when the professor discusses them. We also went through two articles: one dealing with corporate bond spreads and one with derivatives, I had her read both articles out loud and we talked different issues as we went through the articles. I think that when one reads something out loud one gets a better understanding of the material. The student continues to be very focused and eager to learn."
"This session was used for test preparations. Included were concepts from the previous session such as GDP, GNP, CPI, PPI, GOP. A review of employment types (frictional, structural, cyclical, and unemployment) was conducted. This included definitions, applications, and statistics involved within employment types."
"We studied chapters out of her book on price discrimination, tying, and bundling in preparation for her final exam on Thursday."
