Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student has improved substantially in her ability to manipulate linear equations and univariable expressions, and perhaps even more so with setting up word problems. She has an exam coming up, so this will show me how well she knows the math subjects to date."
"The student and I continued working on absolute value equations and inequalities. We were graphing and solving these types of equations. He works very hard to try to understand these more advanced concepts."
"We reviewed the test and correlational studies. We explored the difference between these two approaches. We also specifically looked at how to interpret the output from each of these analyses. We also talked a bit about the value and how to interpret it. In general the student is a quick learner and appeared to understand the concepts that we explored. We also went over some homework problems and the weekly discussion question for her online class. The student is making great strides and has a good basic understanding of the concepts that we have covered thus far and their utility in practice."
"The student is improving a lot in his math skills. The concept of fractions is becoming much clearer to him! It was his best performance I've seen yet."
"Great session. The student had tons of energy. Understanding tables was a new concept for him, and we will continue to add tables in other ways."
"The student and I worked on fractional functions and some word problems. He said he felt very comfortable factoring and simplifying these functions."
