Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"During our first session, I was quickly able to determine the student's strengths and weaknesses; she does a great job reading with proper intonation and pronunciation, she needs help predominantly with understanding the language being spoken to her. We reviewed how to conjugate regular '-ar', '-er', and '-ir' ending verbs, did a great job! Concluded with a reading exercises, reading the dialogue aloud, and analyzing the gender of the words based on contextual clues such as adjectives or articles that indicate the noun's gender and plurality."
"The student has a test on Tuesday, so we spent our entire session preparing for that. We spent a little bit of time on the verb conjugation that would appear on the test, but most of the time was spent reviewing his vocabulary list. He seemed to have a pretty good grasp of most of the words by the time our session was over, and as we were working, I made a list of the words that he struggled with. I left him with this list so that he could use it to study in his own time before the test."
"We reviewed math for the first 30 minutes and then we progressed into Spanish we first went over the preterite of -er and -ir verbs and then we moved onto vocabulary. The student did great on Spanish to English translations."
