Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on his Finance Investments homework. Topics covered included: dividends, dividend growth, rate of return, pricing of stocks, present value, discounting methods, implied returns, and payout ratios."
"For this session, we began reviewing for her second exam in the class. We went over journal entries and t-accounts for notes payable and bad debt expenses. We completed the review for chapter 7."
"I believe I helped her to achieve her goals in understanding this class better. It was a finance course that was specific towards her non-finance degree. Basically we covered a 990 tax form for a non-profit that she selected in the LA area for homeless people. Topics covered where how to decipher the 990 itself and use it to determine what the teacher was looking for in the paper. The bulk of the questions revolved around concepts of unrestricted assets and revenue or expenses and liquidity. Overall I thought this was a very productive session."
