Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today was my first day meeting with the student and our session went well. For most of the time we talked about the ideal gas law and she completed a lot of her homework problems. After the ideal gas law, we moved onto solutions and net ionic equations. This was very easy for the student so we did not spend much time on it. I think that a lot of what we will work on in the future will require some remediation of earlier topics."
"Reviewed for test covering all of thermodynamics subjects, enthalpy, entropy, Gibbs free energy, how those relate to K, Q, how things change at different pressures and different temperatures, etc."
"Buffers part 2, Calculating Acid and Conjugate Base Molar amounts in a buffer, pH, pOH, the relationship between pH and buffer strength."
"Today, we continued covering thermodynamics. I gave the student some practice that will help internalize the information."
"AP Physics: Rotational Motion, Tangential Speed, Angular Speed in Radians per second, converting units (rpm to radians per second to tangential velocity, etc.), Centripetal forces and acceleration."
"The student and I reviewed for her final in organic chemistry. We reviewed organic spectroscopy methods and several types of reactions. She seemed very receptive to the information. We also spoke briefly about the types of questions teachers like to ask on exams."
