Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we reviewed for the student's first test of the semester. We covered all of the topics previously noted on her handouts, including the business cycle, unemployment, calculating GDP, GDP deflator, CPI and the effect of interest rates and Net Capital Outflow on currency. She seems to have a good grasp on most of the material. She's a little shaky on NCO and currency, but if she relies on her graphs, she should be fine. We also briefly reviewed velocity of money and the quantity theory of money."
"Today the student and I went over his homework problems, focusing mainly on depreciation methods and ratios. We will meet next week on Tuesday to continue reviewing these topics."
"We reviewed several indirect method cash flow statement problems and the student has mastered the structure of the statements and how to calculate the different sections. We, also, reviews the financial ratios used to analyze capital structure, liquidity, etc. We did a few direct method problems as well."
