Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student said she'd been commended by her teacher who thinks she has made slow but steady improvement on verbs and gotten better at structuring her sentences. She was introduced to the imperative and present subjunctive - 2 of the most challenging tenses in Spanish. If she grasps the concepts clearly, she will have great potential to become conversant. I provided her with various examples of the use of the imperative and present subjunctive. We also revised one of the most recent essays she turned in in her class."
"The student and I met for the first time today. She's really great about identifying the areas that she needs to work on in her class work. We started out by outlining the areas we need to review and then we worked through her homework for this week together. Moving forward we're going to try to split our time between homework and catching up on concepts that she is still struggling with. Next week we'll be reviewing for a vocabulary test."
"We worked on the student's 4 online assignments that are due Thursday. We worked on filling in preterite or imperfect fill-in-the-blanks in paragraph format, a vocabulary crossword puzzle, and a word search ( all on the art vocabulary the student will be tested on Wednesday)."
