Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Student and I continued to review for her exam this Monday. We covered all the topics that were covered last session, and clarified different energy as energy transfer terms. We mostly practiced homework and textbook examples, specifically reviewing input/output energy diagrams, and source/receiver energy diagrams as well. We went over her first quiz, correcting examples that she got wrong. I wish her the best of luck in her exam on Monday! We are scheduled to meet next Friday."
"In this session, the student and I covered more topics related to equilibrium. We went over how the rate laws can be used to set up an equilibrium reaction. In addition, we reviewed Le Chatelier's principle and its relation to the equilibrium constant. The student was able to go through the problems at a fast pace showing her understanding of the material. In fact, she even remembered about a trick question that appears very often. The student is doing a great job and continues to excel. I have no worries and enjoy working with her."
"We were able to complete all but one of her problems while reviewing the underlying concepts. In particular, the student and I covered several multi-part problems involving mechanical energy. Already her class has gone over kinetic, gravitational potential, and elastic potential energy. The student became more confident in her manipulation of energy equations and more automatic in recognizing energy concepts that simplified complex problems. She maintained an exceptional attitude throughout. I look forward to our continued work as the concepts are rapidly increasing in their complexity."
