Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student has a re-take of a test coming up this week covering the topic of 2D kinematics. We have been working on this topic for the last few weeks. We began this session by covering up the answers from the original test on this topic and completing the problems again. She did much better this time around and I think she is beginning to better understand the material. The only problem she had more trouble with was a projectile motion problem where the object was launched at an angle. We then completed similar problems in her textbook together so she could get more practice with this. We will meet again tomorrow to review more for the test and I have assigned her extra problems to complete from her textbook that were similar to the ones on her test which we will review tomorrow."
"We reviewed homework problems that involved the interaction of electric currents with magnetic fields. We discussed velocity selectors, electron beam steering, and the Faraday wheel, in both conceptual and quantitative terms."
"Today we went over lots of practice problems on momentum and circular motion. Student seems to have a good grasp on the basic concepts and beginner problems, so later this week we will work on more advanced problems."
