Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"During this session I helped him review his homework. His homework consisted of conjugating the subjunctive, listening to a file and writing down information about several courses, and conjugating reflexive verbs. He had a little difficulty with the reflexive verbs section, so I spent a little time explaining the purpose of those verbs. He had a better understanding of them by the end of the session."
"We studied for the students exam on Thursday. She had listened to a podcast in Spanish class on the differences between pharmacies in the US and in Latin America. She was to be able to write a paragraph comparing and contrasting the similarities and differences between them, using select vocabulary. We wrote the paragraph together and practiced memorizing it for the test. We also continued studying por/para and I tested her on this concept using 25 different sentences. She got 22/25 correct and of the 3 she got incorrect, we discussed the reasoning on why it was the opposite one."
"Today we spent our time focusing on reviewing the topics that we had previously studied together. We used a combination of board games and conversation to focus on the present and past tenses. Also, she had a worksheet from school that allowed us to spend a little time working on some new topics, specifically the future and conditional tenses."
