Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"I covered ratios, geometry of triangles, percents, and linear equations. The student will take her actual GMAT on Tuesday at 11:00am. She has considerably improved her quantitative reasoning abilities. I recommended that she review medium and high level difficulty problems."
"Today we looked through some of the tougher reading comprehension and critical reasoning problems the GMAT includes. The student seems to have a keen grasp on how to read through and answer these; she's not easily fooled here. However, I'll continue to find tougher passages for future sessions. We also ran through some intermediate-level math problems, and I think there has been serious improvement here. I'm seeing fewer errors and better intuition on dealing with these problems."
"The student and I finished our review of the rarer critical reasoning question types. We then turned to a general strategy for reading comprehension. This is challenging for her because she reads slowly and often gets confused with the meaning. I gave her a list of signpost words that will help guide her attention to important shifts in passages."
