Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Conducted a review of polynomial factoring methods: grouping, difference of squares, sum/difference of cubes, trinomial factoring, and coefficient greater than 1 for quadratic equations. Completed at least 15 problems for mastery."
"Finished review packet for upcoming test. Focusing on working through each problem carefully and checking our work! Specifically, remember the rules for working with exponents. The arithmetic is simple, but keeping track of how to manipulate them can be tricky. It might be a good idea to review each different type of problem and walk through the steps needed to solve it. Student did an awesome job on your last math test, and you're definitely as prepared as last time! Good luck!"
"We reviewed topics from addition/subtraction/multiplication of decimals, division by 2 digit numbers and also adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing fractions. He was doing very well."
"We went over synthetic division in section 5.5 and rational exponents. The student has a test tomorrow which she seems confident will go well. Next time we will discuss exponential factors and multiplying/dividing composition functions."
"Today, we worked on the student's online math work. We went over areas, perimeters, and fractions. We also did an online assessment that reviewed all of the topics we covered over the last 2-3 sessions. In addition to his math work, we did his history homework, covering the habitability of the various regions of India."
"In this session, the student and I went over how to do right and left Riemann sums. We also went over how to do some basic integration as well as summation."
