"He has three homework assignments to finish. The Math was easy for him so we worked on his Science presentation on Solar Energy and on summarizing a section of his chapter on the Periodic Table."
"We worked through the vocabulary list for the new unit, covering galaxies and the universe. Topics included star life stages, types of stars, types of galaxies, dark energy and dark matter, and our celestial 'neighborhood.' We also sorted and hole-punched the loose papers in the student's binder."
"We covered the topic of Newton's law of gravitation involving two masses and the distance between them. The student had an assignment that had six problems over this concept. The problems were challenging, but with my help, the student was able to get through them and understand how to solve for a planet's gravity given its mass as well as how to solve for their Gravitational force. We also worked on some pre-calculus which involved simple trig problems finding the value of an angle using the unit circle. The student had no issues with her pre-calculus. She said that the test was extremely long and difficult and she received a score that was high above the class average, so the teacher will have to curve."
