Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"I met with the student at the library. After introducing ourselves, we reviewed her physics homework. We covered basic trigonometry, and I worked through several physics problems on projectile motion with her. With practice and increased exposure to the material, she will grasp the concepts. I encourage her to keep up with her work and email me in between tutoring sessions if she has questions about a specific problem."
"We continued to worked on equilibrium constants for acids and bases, calculating pH from [OH-] and [H+] concentrations, understanding Kw, and how to write out acid/base equations, which you can then use to determine conjugate acids and conjugate bases respectively. She understands the concepts once I explain them, and we worked through some practice problems together. She has some practice problems to work on before we meet again so we can review them before her exam this coming Thursday."
"We covered cell biology this evening, and she was able to explain to me exactly what she understood during the session. I asked her to go over the material again and write down questions that she may have before the next session. She was very engaged during the session and was enthusiastic about learning."
