Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student is still in the initial stages of learning Spanish. We began with a daily review of concepts. After we were able to master those we moved on to verb conjugations. I am pleased with the students continued progress."
"We managed to finish the entire summer packet, including the last sections on a family tree, classroom supplies, and descriptions of people. Next time, I want to review some of the earlier topics we've covered (telling time, present tense conjugation) and practice as much vocabulary as possible."
"The student and I reviewed some more the difference between preterite and imperfect, especially in regards to the essay he did last week, and the homework that he did. He seems to have a pretty good grasp on it. I gave him some reading for Chapter Two and an essay for next week, and then we will study the reflexive."
"We worked on the student's notes and helped prepare her for her quiz today. She worked on learning 6 irregular verbs and their conjugations in present tense. She was asked to write them on flashcards and have them prepared for the next session. She is a fast learner and pronounces words very well."
"We worked on conversation, grammar and vocabulary from the new chapter. The student's confidence in speaking the language has increased dramatically and she continues to improve in her overall Spanish language skills"
"The student and I read and discussed the first act of the play La Casa de Bernarda Alba. She did a very good job reading aloud and her comprehension of what's going on in the play is very good. She will read the second act before our next meeting and we can discuss it together."
