Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We continued our overview of logical reasoning questions, discussed methods for addressing the "best" answer choice, and planned for future session with different LR question types."
"This was my first session with the student - we met at the library. I talked with her about what she has done so far to prepare for the LSAT, what she wants to achieve and what she feels she specifically needs to work on the most. We started with logic games, since she said that she consistently cannot finish that section and always loses 4-5 questions. I had her walk me through some basic set-ups and I tweaked her work a bit. One of the main changes I asked her to make and continue to implement in her work is not erasing her work and instead re-drawing set-ups for each specific local question. This allowed her to keep references her master diagram where she diagrammed all the rules and made all of her inferences. We also did general clean up on the way that she represents rules for herself. We then worked through a super tough logic games that involved multiple variable and grouping and talked through how to solve it. She said that she will try and do as many practice sections as she can on her own in between lessons so we can go over whatever she has questions about next time. We will also start going over logical reasoning at that time too."
"We went over logical reasoning questions and linear logic games. For next time, I assigned prep test 58, more logical reasoning bundles, and logic games from prep test 28."
