Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over the multiple choice questions from the student's study guide, with topics including the circular flow model, the production possibilities frontier, and supply and demand graphs. The student also asked her own questions about binding and non-binding price floors and price ceilings. Her test-taking strategies for multiple choice questions are very good, and she is usually able to eliminate answers that don't make sense based on the vocabulary. Her only challenge is sometimes explaining why the correct answer she chose does make sense, and we worked on that for future word problems."
"The student has a test tomorrow so we went over the terms and concepts on her study guide: market structures (perfect competition through monopoly) and their features, business structures (sole proprietorship through corporation) and their features as well as labor and unions. The student did a nice job and we were able to cover a lot of ground."
"The student wanted to go over an article that she is utilizing as the basis of her class assignment, which is to write a brief research paper. She wanted to discuss how to go about writing the paper and what topics to specifically cover as it relates to the goals of the assignment. I believe the article that she has selected is more than satisfactory, and she will be able to conduct a thorough analysis and draft a successful paper as a result. I do not have any issues from this session. We will schedule another session or more later in the week."
