"Today we worked through some of the arguments questions that the student had completed. She also worked through one full logic game and the setup for a second game. She seems to be improving in understanding the content of games and arguments passages before reaching answer choices. I think she is also reading questions more precisely. We will meet again on Friday at the usual time. She is going to try to grade her arguments section and complete a reading comprehension section."
"The students purchased the class logic game book and have worked through the linear games chapter of the book. They also began reading the next chapter. We worked on an "advanced linear game" from the book and revisited the more complex of the two linear games on the September SAT that he took. We talked through the set-up and diagramming of the game. We also discussed the plan going forward. We will spend a couple more sessions on Logic Games before moving onto the other test sections."
"This session the student and I continued to work on logic games, but then moved on to some basics of logical reasoning as well. We started by going over her homework, which she did a great job with. She only got one question wrong on each, so we quickly went through them. We then moved on to a couple more special games with numerical distribution and templates. Before starting our final practice game she and I took a look at the actual LSAT book that she has and picked a practice test for her to do for homework. We went through the logical reasoning questions a little bit. We talked through premises, conclusions, inferences, assumptions, principles and flaws to give her a brief overview of what these different types of questions are. We then started another logic game together that she will finish for homework."
