"We split our time today between math and science. The student came with a lot more questions about math today than usual, but I think it was because she felt more comfortable asking questions than before, not because she understood less. We worked on a lot of geometry problems and a few functions. After math we worked on science. She did not make the mistake of looking at the wrong graph or figure once today! Her attention to detail has improved considerably, and I am confident that it would be even better in a testing environment where she can focus and not talk."
"We went through the ACT English and Science sections. I taught the student strategies to annotate text for the science section so that he can better refer to information during the test. He seemed responsive. We went through a number of practice problems. I asked him to do another English and Science section for next week."
