"We finished up WWI and the events leading to the U.S. joining the war. The student had to write from the point of view of an American in 1914. We also looked at the significance of the sinking of the Lusitania."
"The student and I worked on terms for world cultures (Oceania) so that she will already be prepared when it is time to study for the test. She only needed a little review for her to remember everything we had gone over before spring break. We also review quadratic equations. We went over how to find the vertex and two ways to find the x-intercepts."
"Today, I read a textbook chapter with the student and I interpreted the material for her. I then quizzed her to make sure she understood what we read. I also gave her different methods of study, which we utilized today. I was very happy with her progress as she was able to memorize and understand a lot of new content. I did not leave her with extra practice as we only had to work from the textbook."
