She is highly motivated to perform well in her course and will take her exam in a couple weeks. She has several practice problems she will complete for our next session. The student asks some incredibly thoughtful questions that indicate she is on some level grasping the materials from a conceptual point of view. The math is an area we will continue to improve."
"Good session. I introduced basic finance principles with specific real life present value calculations for her car. Then she worked on how to use her financial calculator, and the inputs needed to complete the problems. We then reviewed a few of her course work problems."
"The student and I worked on his Finance Test Review. Topics covered included: calls, puts, arbitrage, treasury bonds, dividends, dividend growth, Sharpe index, Treynor index, beta, risk-free rate, and market risk premiums."
