"Today we completed his homework for this week and next week. We went over solvents and rate laws. He said he felt really good about his last test and only has his final left. He seems to be doing well and does most of the learning when we are together doing the homework."
"We finished up some stoichiometry problems and worked on new material including phase changes and gas laws. The student did well with these problems. We went back to work on a previous "project" that dealt with percent composition and chemical formulas. She understood this quickly after some demonstration."
"The student and I covered solution chemistry today. Specifically, we covered how to calculate molarity given the mass of a solute and the volume of solvent, dilutions using the M1V1=M2V2 equation, and solution stoichiometry. I showed her a simple approach to each one and she seemed to understand after a few examples."
