Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We had a good session today reviewing three topics: the current material, WW1, and review of the earliest chapters of the book to prepare for the AP exam. There are some key areas the exam is likely to cover so prioritizing review of those sections will help keep things fresh in the student's mind. She has acceptable recall of most topics which is good, but the more specific she can get the better. Next session we will continue the review and I will reserve some time to answer any questions she has on the current material."
"Worked with the student on terms, events, people and places in preparation for his test the next day, specifically chapters 14-16 from his World History textbook. The student studies well - he was obviously working hard to pass the test. I hope that reviewing material and study skills will help him on his test - I believe his greatest difficulty is dealing with the pressure. He does better when calmer and able to trust himself."
"Today we did a full review of content from Chapters 18-22, essentially the Industrial Revolution through Imperialism on the eve of WWI. As always, the student has a great understanding of the material."
