Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on his International Finance review. Topics covered included: market exchange rate, net present value, internal rate of return, and arbitrage profit."
"We covered Accounting 1A's first week lesson on balance sheets and income statements. The student is a true beginner and has never had an accounting or business college class. She asks many questions. I am able to explain things, and will continue to work to get her up to speed in this class. We are off to a good start. We have scheduled session #2 for Feb 13."
"We continued to work on concepts related to introductory finance - time value of money problems, bonds, rates of return, and yields to maturity, were discussed on both a conceptual and quantitative level. The student is highly motivated to perform well in her course and will take her exam in a couple of weeks. She has several practice problems she will complete for our next session. She asks some incredibly thoughtful questions that indicate she is grasping the materials from a conceptual point of view. The math is an area she will continue to improve."
