"The student received a composite score of 28.5 on her fourth practice test from the prep book. We reviewed her wrong answers, and I assigned her to take practice test sections for English, Reading, and Science from the prep book."
"The student finished his algebra review aside maybe two of twenty pages. He is well-prepared for his exam tomorrow and I hope it goes well."
"She had a worksheet of review for the final, so we started on this. It was good because we were able to cover more topics from earlier in the year when she was in a different class. We have one more meeting scheduled for Thursday and will also do review. Her final is next week."
"The student and I reviewed the English section subject matter. She took a practice subject test and we went over any incorrect answers. Then we began to examine the material covered in the math section of the ACT."
"Today we went over graphing systems of inequalities, but this time with systems of 3 inequalities. I was able to come up with example problems that illustrated the important techniques and concepts. She seems to have a good grasp of the material."
"The student and I reviewed questions from another learning activity, and the emphasis was on understanding the characteristics of price ceilings and floors, and the resulting impact upon equilibrium (with the creation of either a surplus or shortage), and changes in consumer vs. producer surplus, as well as total surplus. Many of the questions included graphs and calculations, and he was able to obtain a better understanding of the calculation and interpretation process. Questions also included the interpretation and effects of quotas."
