"The student did excellent work on a series of logic games. When she is relaxed, her instincts on the LSAT logical sections are very strong."
"This session was devoted to basic sequencing games within the logic game section. Also covered briefly: basic argument-based questions with the logical reasoning section."
"Today, we addressed the reading comprehension passages. The student and I worked through a particularly challenging passage from a practice test he had taken, spending a good deal of time on it, and he was surprised by how straightforward the questions became once a passage has been well processed. I recommended an exercise in which he takes a difficult passage and writes down his understanding of each sentence in one column, and his understanding of the passage's main point, as it stands after that sentence, in the next column. On logic games and reasoning, he continues to do very well, but he can still improve his time management here. We worked through a challenging logic game and I demonstrated that relying on a general diagram as much as possible, rather than diagramming out a scenario for each answer choice, can save time overall, even if it requires more time up front."
