Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"During my session with the student, we worked on logic games and logical reasoning. Since our last session, I graded two diagnostic exams. A positive development is that she is becoming more accurate with her logical reasoning, which is great considering logical reasoning composes one-half of her graded score. Next, we looked at the games we hadn't been able to finish during our last session. We reviewed the first game together, and I asked her to complete the second game (Game #4 in the section) on her own. She answered the questions well. Timing is the only hurdle in her path, and the only way to overcome it is to practice. I encouraged her to practice these problems as much as possible. Only through working through so many logic games can she readily know how to set up a game quickly. We finished our session with a timed 35-minute logical reasoning section."
"We worked on two LSAT Logic Games in detail, focusing on understanding the structure of the games to increase the likelihood of correctly anticipating what the questions are asking."
"We reviewed the work done in the time since our last session and talked about how to improve mapping and logical reasoning strategies."
