Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"She went over her assignment for the week which covered income inequity, Lorenz curve, ways to manipulate it and understand it, income redistribution, policies that create incentive for work, account balance percent of GDP and GDP growth diagrams."
"She felt confident about her performance on the midterm. She doesn't get the grade back until next week. For this week we jumped forward and went over monopolies and other instances of monopolistic competition."
"We went over the basics of economics so I could assess where the student was in his skill level, and we discussed economic indicators, and a lot on GDP on its effects on the economy. He had some specific questions that he wanted to go over with me, and we discussed these five questions, and I asked him to try and reason out the right answers. We reviewed inflation and how this effects spending power and the economy, plus housing starts, the stock market, and interest rates. He thought the session was very helpful, and so did I. We will continue with more economic terms and what they mean, and then discuss some specific questions on calculating GDP and other financial numbers in our next session."
