"I began tutoring my cousins in my youth who struggled with math, science, or english. In college, this continued as I tutored underclassmen in the biological sciences, organic chemistry, algebra, and writing. After graduation, I had a natural inclination to service students in the classroom as a high school biology teacher for two years in HISD. Now, as I continue to pursue my academic endeavors in graduate school, I wish to be able to tutor and share my unique experiences with our youth in hopes of enlightening their perspective of academia and life in general. I am fun loving, personable, and can relate to the younger generation through ...

"I know what it is to work HARD for a grade! I believe this makes me a better tutor, as I can truly empathize with my clients and their struggles. Additionally, the good rapport I establish with my students ensures good communication during sessions and allows me to maximize session efficiency and quality. I have tutored and taught elementary through high school students since I was 15, mostly in ESL, Spanish, and Biology, but my real passion is helping students succeed, regardless of subject matter or age group. Soon after, I was presented with the opportunity to teach at a local charter school, here in Houston.
