Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today, the student and I discussed the result of the accommodations consultation. We also completed some logic games, loose sequencing, proper contrapositives of compound statements and generating options."
"During my session with the student, I introduced her to the structure of the LSAT and reviewed how one should approach simple linear logic games. I explained the various types of sections on the LSAT, the timing of the test, and general test-taking tips for this exam. To gauge how comfortable she was with logic games prior to any lessons, I asked her to take on a simple linear game on her own. She seemed a bit confused, so we went through the game together. I taught her how to set up a global scenario, to make deductions, and to interpret the rules. We worked through the questions, one by one, and then I asked her to tackle a second, similar game on her own. I also left her with a reading comprehension section and a logical reasoning section to complete. I will send her answers via email to check her work. We will continue to work on logic games in future sessions."
"We continued working on logic games, and also returned to inference questions, focusing on the logical reasoning behind the inferences."
