Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today's session we spent reviewing equations for the students test and practice problems. The topics covered were pressure, density, Pascal's Principle, and Archimedes' Principle."
"The student and I began discussing the topic of momentum. We talked about how momentum is always conserved and how to calculate it. We also reviewed impulse force and completed a work packet."
"Today was 1st session with this student. We reviewed 4 chapters--Kinematics, Newton's forces and circular motion. All in all she has a good understanding of the material. Her attitude was super positive and we worked a lot on vector physics."
"Today I assigned the student some practice problems in magnetics. We worked on the Lorentz Force that acts on charged particles in magnetic fields. The problems I gave him involved the same concepts that he had learned in class, so he was able to use and manipulate the correct formulas to get the correct answers. He did really well in converting units and properly interpreting the questions assigned to him."
"I covered rotation, including moment of inertia, angular acceleration, angular velocity, angular displacement, and torque. The student had some occasional trouble with knowing when to convert units. Her attitude was fine. I showed her the similarity of angular and linear equations. She understands how most of the problems work and how to solve them."
"Concepts: special theory of relativity, 2 postulates, speed of light constant, relativity of space time, and mass. For extra practice, he is to finish questions for that lesson. We had a productive session."
