Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"I went over the Spanish alphabet and some numbers with the student. This was more of an introductory session to see what sort of plan is needed for our future sessions."
"Over these past two sessions, we have reviewed the conditional, the prepositions and have begun to learn how to make formal and business phone calls."
"We did more practice on the topics we touched upon during the first lesson. He seems to be grasping the fundamentals and we will continue to work from there."
"Started with a quiz on directionals and currency. She did very well with those and only forgot one word: the word for umbrella. She did very well with the work that we reviewed today. I left her with another set of 10 words to work on."
"We continued working with pronunciation. I bought flashcards of the most common verbs in Spanish. The student practiced pronouncing the verbs when conjugated in the simple present tense --- as a result, she also passively learned how to conjugate common irregular verbs. We also worked on learning other vocabulary. I sent her common words in Spanish with the vowels highlighted."
"We went over her oral interview topics. I corrected her grammatical errors. She had most of it very well done. We talked about house renovations in Japanese. We also learned new vocabulary. She will be studying more kanji over the summer and asked me for help on that as well."
