Nicole ...I have helped many of my peers throughout my years of school when they were struggling. Even for college classes I didn't take but knew a lot about from my own reading. I have also helped elementary students with their school work in private and through school-sponsored volunteer programs. I tutor Math, History, certain Law, and basic k-12 education. I love teaching History because it story telling and I like making it entertaining.... Everyone learns differently: the key to succeeding is understanding how you learn, and molding your study habits to take advantage of your personal strengths.

Jessica ...same school. With both of them attending a cyber school, I have essentially become their teacher as the classes are self-paced, but do have deadlines. Math is my favorite subject to tutor, but I also enjoy tutoring certain aspects of Science and English. I feel that every student can achieve greatness provided the tutoring methods are adjusted for each student’s needs. In my spare time, I enjoy bonfires, cookouts and spending time with my family.

Jake ...and especially in my section of AP Calculus, I would tutor many of my peers. When I teach someone I think the most important thing is that he or she understands the material not just recognize a pattern of when to use what tools. I like to watch a student work through a problem, so I can see where they are having issues and then help them remove the "roadblocks" between them and the answer.
Matt ...at it or do not get it. The reason they are not good at it is likely because they have not spent the time or had the individual attention they need to be successful. Benjamin ...It is not some mystical force that cannot be tamed; rather, it behaves itself quite well for those who pay attention and learn its fundamental principles. It has been my experience that most people who struggle in some way with math have simply missed one of those fundamental principles.
