Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We worked through some Java questions that the student had for this session. There was nothing too difficult or problematic to be reviewed. We did a quick look at a few file-related problems he had (appending vs. creating new files, using big/little endian byte formats). We then did some tutoring in threads to begin helping him to work through the outline for his senior project. We worked on basic mutex synchronization as well as the overall mechanisms for using threads in Java."
"The student and I continued to go over variable operations, but expanded onto user input, and operations on user input. Afterwards, we explored named tuples and using user input to change them."
"During this session, I assessed the student's comfortability using the tablet, and assisted her in creating a online social media page. We also put a plan in place for the next session."
